IDEAS & APPARATUS

is an artist run digital printing project named for the vital role that printing has played in the development and circulation of ideas in intellectual history.

We think of ideas as an art medium and central to shaping and questioning perception.

In creating prints and artist books I&A is open to exploring the notion that digital printing - like other technologies that preceded it - has its own unique sensibilities, potentials and affective landscape in need of exploration.
